Candy Jump
A gentle side-scrolling platformer about clean jump arcs and reading candy placement before you leap.
Explore a fictional candy castle room by room, searching for hidden sweets rather than racing a timer.
Walk with the arrows or A and D, jump with space or W. Jumping into a wall panel that looks slightly paler than its surroundings breaks it and reveals whatever is behind. Doors between rooms open once you hold the required number of sweets for that room, shown in the counter above the canvas. You can return to earlier rooms at any time.

Visible candy is collected on contact. Hidden sweets require breaking a panel or reaching an off-screen ledge, and the room map marks rooms where sweets remain. The most reliable search technique is to walk the full perimeter of a room and then jump along every wall - panels break on contact from any direction, so a systematic sweep always finds everything eventually.
Falling into a gap returns you to the room entrance without losing progress, which is why the game has no lives. Some ledges crumble after a moment. A small number of rooms have syrup floors that must be crossed by platform. There are no enemies and no way to fail permanently - the only cost of a mistake is time.
Advertising keeps Candy Arcade free. Ads never cover gameplay or controls.
Candy Vacuum reveals and collects every hidden sweet in the current room, which is the single most useful item here and deliberately rare. Sugar Speed Boost makes traversal and backtracking faster. Sweet Multiplier doubles sweet values for ten seconds and is best saved for a room you have already scouted.
Candy drops are worth ten points, cupcakes thirty, chocolate forty and sugar crystals one hundred. Clearing a room of every sweet awards a completion bonus of two hundred and fifty points, and clearing all twelve rooms completely awards a final bonus of two thousand. Since there is no timer, the score is effectively a measure of thoroughness rather than speed.
Finding hidden sweets in succession without collecting a visible one builds a discovery combo, adding a half multiplier per find to a maximum of three times. Collecting ordinary visible candy resets it. This inverts the usual combo rule and rewards deliberately searching before sweeping.
Candy Castle Hunt is rated Medium relative to the rest of the Candy Arcade library. Difficulty on this site comes from level design, hazard density and timing windows rather than from degrading your controls, and the rating describes how demanding the execution is rather than how complicated the rules are.
The mechanics involved are: Room-based exploration, Hidden collectibles, Breakable panels, Key sweets, Backtracking. If this game is too demanding, the candy platformers category page lists the easier games that use overlapping skills.
