Contact Candy Arcade
We read everything that arrives. This page explains how to reach us, what to include, and what happens afterwards.
How contact works on this site
Candy Arcade is a static website with no server-side code, which means there is no form on this page that submits anything. Building one that appeared to send a message while doing nothing would be worse than having none at all, so instead every enquiry route below is an email address that works.
Email is checked regularly and we aim to reply to anything that needs a reply within a few working days. Corrections and accessibility problems are prioritised over everything else.
General enquiries
For anything that does not fit the categories below, write to hello@candyarcade.xyz. If your message is about a specific game, including the game's name and your browser and device makes it far easier to act on.
Game feedback and bug reports
Write to hello@candyarcade.xyz with "bug" or "feedback" in the subject line. The most useful reports include the game name, what you expected, what happened instead, your browser and version, and whether you were on a phone, tablet or computer. If a game failed to start, saying whether you saw the error message or a blank area helps us narrow it down immediately.
Suggestions for new games and new mechanics are welcome. We cannot promise to build any specific suggestion, and we will not build anything that requires imitating an existing commercial game.
Content corrections
If an article or a game page states something inaccurate, write to hello@candyarcade.xyz with "correction" in the subject line and a link to the page. Please say what you believe is wrong and, if you can, what the correct information is.
Corrections to factual errors are made as quickly as we can verify them, and the page's updated date changes when they are. Our full process is in the fact-checking policy.
Copyright and intellectual property concerns
Every game, description, image and article on Candy Arcade is original work created for this site. If you nonetheless believe something here infringes your rights, write to hello@candyarcade.xyz with "copyright" in the subject line.
Please include identification of the work you believe has been infringed, the specific URL on this site, your contact details, and a statement of your good-faith belief that the use is not authorised. We investigate every such notice and will remove genuinely infringing material promptly.
Business and advertising enquiries
For advertising, partnership or other commercial enquiries, write to hello@candyarcade.xyz with "business" in the subject line. We do not accept paid links in editorial content, paid positive reviews, or sponsored articles presented as independent writing. If that is what you are looking for, this will be a short conversation.
What we cannot help with
- Recovering lost scores. Scores live in your browser's local storage, and if that is cleared we have no copy - we never had one.
- Account problems, because there are no accounts.
- Payments or refunds, because nothing on the site costs anything.
- Requests to remove a competitor's content, or to add links in exchange for anything.
Response times and expectations
Candy Arcade is a small independent site, not a company with a support desk. We are honest about that rather than promising a service level we cannot keep. Corrections and accessibility issues get attention first, bug reports second, and general correspondence when time allows.
