Candy Sky Run
Vertical platforming up drifting candy clouds, where standing still is the only real mistake.
A gentle side-scrolling platformer about clean jump arcs and reading candy placement before you leap.
Walk with the left and right arrows or A and D. Jump with the space bar, the up arrow, W, or the on-screen jump button on a touch device. Holding jump does not jump higher - the arc is fixed. Walking off a ledge gives you a tenth of a second of coyote time during which a jump still registers, which removes most of the frustration of edge jumps without making the game trivially forgiving.
| Action | Controls |
|---|---|
| Walk | ←→ or AD, or the on-screen pads |
| Jump | Space, ↑, W, or the on-screen JUMP button |
| Pause or resume | P or Esc, or the Pause button |
| Restart | R, or the Restart button |
| Mute or unmute | M, or the Sound button |
Candy is collected by touching it from any direction. Most candy sits along the natural jump arc between two platforms, so a well-timed jump collects the whole trail without any extra input. Cupcakes sit slightly above the arc and require jumping from the very edge of a platform to reach. Chocolate bars are placed below platform level in short drops, which means deliberately falling and then climbing back - a genuine risk on levels with no floor beneath.
The main hazard is empty space. Falling below the level resets you to the last checkpoint and costs one of three lives. From level four onward some platforms are marked with a soft pink crumble texture: they hold for about half a second after you land and then fall away, so they must be crossed with a continuous rhythm rather than used as a resting point. There are no enemies in Candy Jump at all.
Advertising keeps Candy Arcade free. Ads never cover gameplay or controls.
Candy Jump uses only two power-ups, deliberately. Shield gives you one free fall - instead of losing a life you are lifted back to the last solid platform. Sweet Multiplier doubles candy value for eight seconds and appears just before the densest candy trails, so spotting it early is worth a short detour.
Candy drops are worth ten points, cupcakes twenty-five and chocolate fifty. Finishing a level adds a completion bonus of one hundred points per level number, and finishing with all candy collected doubles that bonus. Lives remaining at the end of the final level are worth two hundred points each, which is why cautious play tends to outscore fast play in this particular game.
Collecting candy without touching the ground builds an air combo. Each candy collected mid-jump adds one tier, up to four times, and the tier resets the moment you land. Long trails strung across several platforms are the only way to reach the top tier, so the air combo quietly teaches you to chain jumps rather than stop on every platform.
Candy Jump is rated Easy relative to the rest of the Candy Arcade library. Difficulty on this site comes from level design, hazard density and timing windows rather than from degrading your controls, and the rating describes how demanding the execution is rather than how complicated the rules are.
The mechanics involved are: Single jump, Gravity arc, Platform collision, Gap crossing, Candy trails as guidance. If this game is too demanding, the candy platformers category page lists the easier games that use overlapping skills.
Yes. It is the easiest platformer on the site: one fixed jump, no enemies, wide platforms and a checkpoint in the middle of every level.
Eight hand-built levels. Each is longer than the last and adds one new arrangement of gaps, but the jump physics never change.
Yes. Arrow keys or A and D to walk, space bar or W to jump. On-screen buttons appear automatically on touch devices.
You return to the last checkpoint and lose one of three lives. The halfway platform of each level is a checkpoint.
