Candy Rush
Sweep a candy cart left and right through accelerating sugar lanes, chaining pickups before the belt outruns you.
The flagship game: a full run combining platforming, collection, combos and power-ups across five escalating zones.
Walk with the arrows or A and D and jump with space or W as in the platformers. Individual zones add one control each, always introduced in a banner before the zone begins: the tunnel adds fast descent steering, the sky adds drifting platforms and the core adds gravity flipping. Nothing is ever introduced without being explained first.
| Action | Controls |
|---|---|
| Walk | ←→ or AD, or the on-screen pads |
| Jump | Space, ↑, W, or the on-screen JUMP button |
| Pause or resume | P or Esc, or the Pause button |
| Restart | R, or the Restart button |
| Mute or unmute | M, or the Sound button |
Every collectible family on the site appears, with values increasing from candy drops through gummies, lollipops, chocolate, cupcakes and donuts to sugar crystals. Each zone gate requires a quota of candy collected within that zone, shown as a progress bar, so it is never possible to reach a gate and discover you cannot pass without warning - the bar makes the requirement visible from the zone's first seconds.
Each zone contributes its own hazards: gaps and crumbling platforms in the orchard, pistons and stamping arms in the factory, rock formations in the tunnel, dissolving clouds in the sky, and a combination of all of them in the core. You have five lives for the entire run, and each zone has a checkpoint at its gate, so a death costs the current zone rather than the whole run.
Advertising keeps Candy Arcade free. Ads never cover gameplay or controls.
All six standard power-ups appear - Candy Magnet, Sweet Multiplier, Shield, Sugar Speed Boost, Candy Vacuum and Bonus Candy Trail - and each is introduced in the zone where it is most useful. The core zone contains all six, which makes power-up selection a real decision in the final stretch rather than an automatic pickup.
Collectible values range from five points for candy drops to one hundred and fifty for sugar crystals. Clearing a zone awards one thousand points, and clearing it without losing a life awards two thousand. Completing the full run awards a victory bonus of ten thousand points plus one thousand for every life remaining, making a flawless run worth roughly three times a scraped one.
The full combo system is active: collecting candy without taking a hit raises the tier one step every eight pieces to a maximum of six times, which is the highest cap on the site. Taking a hit drops you two tiers rather than resetting completely, a deliberate concession to the length of the run - losing a ten-minute combo to a single mistake would be more punishing than instructive.
Candy Arcade Ultimate is rated Hard relative to the rest of the Candy Arcade library. Difficulty on this site comes from level design, hazard density and timing windows rather than from degrading your controls, and the rating describes how demanding the execution is rather than how complicated the rules are.
The mechanics involved are: Five themed zones, Candy quota gates, All power-up types, Full combo system, Victory state. If this game is too demanding, the candy rush games category page lists the easier games that use overlapping skills.
Roughly eight to twelve minutes across five zones, making it the longest single run on Candy Arcade.
Yes. Unlike the endless games, Candy Arcade Ultimate has a real victory state with an ending and a victory bonus of ten thousand points.
You cannot pass the gate until you do. The quota progress bar is visible from the start of each zone, so it is never a surprise.
Five for the entire run, with a checkpoint at each zone gate, so a death costs the current zone rather than everything.
Candy Jump for the orchard, Candy Factory for the factory, Candy Tunnel for the tunnel, Candy Sky Run for the sky, and Gravity Candy Hunt for the core.
