One-Tap Candy Collector
A single-input timing game: tap at the right moment as candy sweeps past a marked collection zone.
Flip gravity up and down to reach candy on ceilings and floors, with no horizontal control at all.
Press the space bar, up arrow, W, or tap anywhere to flip gravity. That is the only control. Your character runs forward at a constant speed and falls toward whichever surface gravity currently points to. Flipping while already in mid-air is allowed and is the basis of most advanced play.
| Action | Controls |
|---|---|
| Flip gravity | Space, ↑, W, or tap anywhere |
| Pause or resume | P or Esc, or the Pause button |
| Restart | R, or the Restart button |
| Mute or unmute | M, or the Sound button |
Floor and ceiling candy is collected by running over it after a flip. Candy floating in the middle of the corridor can only be reached by flipping twice in quick succession, which arrests your fall near the centre line. Sugar crystals are almost always placed centrally for exactly this reason, so they are effectively a test of the double-flip technique.
Spiked sugar formations grow from either the floor or the ceiling and end the run on contact. They are always placed on one surface at a time, so there is always a survivable side - the difficulty is that the safe side alternates faster as the run progresses. Crossing bars span the full corridor with a single gap, forcing you to be at a specific height at a specific moment.

Shield absorbs one spike contact. Sweet Multiplier doubles values for eight seconds. Candy Magnet extends collection range vertically, which effectively makes central candy reachable without a perfect double flip and is therefore the most forgiving pickup in the game.
One point per metre travelled. Candy drops are worth five points, gummies twelve, chocolate twenty-five and sugar crystals sixty. Collecting a central sugar crystal with a double flip awards a technique bonus of one hundred points, which is the game scoring the skill it is built around directly.
Consecutive flips that each collect at least one candy build a gravity combo, one tier per four such flips to a maximum of five times. A flip that collects nothing drops a tier, which penalises panic flipping - the most common beginner habit and the main thing separating a thirty-second run from a three-minute one.
Gravity Candy Hunt is rated Hard relative to the rest of the Candy Arcade library. Difficulty on this site comes from level design, hazard density and timing windows rather than from degrading your controls, and the rating describes how demanding the execution is rather than how complicated the rules are.
The mechanics involved are: Gravity inversion, Automatic forward movement, Mid-air flips, Ceiling and floor candy, Momentum arrest. If this game is too demanding, the reflex & candy arcade games category page lists the easier games that use overlapping skills.
You do not. Your character runs forward automatically at a constant speed. Flipping gravity is the only input.
Two flips in quick succession while airborne. It arrests your fall near the centre of the corridor and is the only way to reach central candy.
No. There is always a survivable surface. The challenge is how quickly the safe side alternates.
Flips that collect no candy drop a combo tier. Flipping reactively rather than toward candy is the most common cause.
It is rated Hard. The rules are simple but the timing is demanding - most players should try One-Tap Candy Collector or Candy Jump first.
