Candy Space Run
Thrust-based flight through a fictional candy nebula, where every burst of thrust has to be paid back.
Descend a narrowing underground tunnel, reading rock formations and hidden candy pockets at speed.
Steer left and right with the arrows, A and D, or by holding a finger on either side of the screen. There is no vertical control - you always fall, and falling speed rises with depth. Horizontal movement has slight acceleration, so committing to a side early is more reliable than correcting late.

Candy in the open tunnel is collected on contact. Wall pockets are alcoves carved into the left or right side and hold sugar crystals and chocolate; entering one means leaving the centre channel entirely and usually means threading the next formation from a bad position. Gummies form trails down the centre and are the safe option.
Rock formations project from the walls and end the run on contact. Hanging sugar spikes descend from formation undersides and are harder to see because you approach them from above. The tunnel narrows in steps every two hundred metres of depth, and the glow radius around your character shrinks at the same points, so the difficulty increase is both physical and perceptual.

Shield absorbs one formation contact. Glow Crystal restores the full light radius for fifteen seconds and is the most valuable pickup at depth. Candy Magnet extends collection range horizontally, which lets you take wall-pocket candy without fully leaving the centre channel - by far the most useful effect in the game.
Depth is worth two points per metre. Gummies are worth eight points, candy drops four, chocolate thirty and sugar crystals ninety. Collecting a wall-pocket item and returning to the centre channel before the next formation awards a pocket bonus of one hundred and fifty points.
Consecutive pocket bonuses build a spelunker combo, one tier per two successful pocket runs to a maximum of four times. Missing a formation - taking a hit - resets it, and simply staying in the centre holds it without advancing. It is the clearest risk-reward combo on the site.
Candy Tunnel is rated Hard relative to the rest of the Candy Arcade library. Difficulty on this site comes from level design, hazard density and timing windows rather than from degrading your controls, and the rating describes how demanding the execution is rather than how complicated the rules are.
The mechanics involved are: Continuous descent, Horizontal steering, Wall pockets, Depth difficulty, Forward reading. If this game is too demanding, the candy obstacle games category page lists the easier games that use overlapping skills.
No. Falling speed is fixed by depth and always increases. The only control is horizontal steering.
Wall pockets. They hold the highest-value candy and awarding a pocket bonus, but entering one costs your safe centre position.
Your glow radius shrinks in steps every two hundred metres of depth, alongside the tunnel narrowing. Glow Crystals restore it for fifteen seconds.
They are assembled from verified passable templates, so every generated tunnel can be descended - though not always comfortably.
Two points per metre, plus candy values and pocket bonuses. Depth alone is usually less than half of a good score.
